At Bristol Church of the
Nazarene Health
- Being
embodied by the daily
practice of Personal spiritual disciplines. As a Church we
are committed to developing the whole person, through a constant
teaching, encouraging, and living out of the spiritual disciplines in
ones life. (i.e. Prayer, Retreat & Solitude, Scripture reading,
and Fasting just to name a few.) Healing
- Healing
is exhibited by being
the hands and feet of God to those that we encounter on a daily
basis. At Bristol we believe that we may be the only Bible
that some people will ever read, and we want to make sure that their
interpretation of who God is is not inhibited by our example.
As healthy Christians we have a responsibility, to be about the
business of showing the Love of Christ to those we meet. Wholeness - Wholeness speaks to our responsibility to be about fulfilling the great commission which lies at the very heart of Christ. This great commission is to make Christ-like disciples in the nations. Bringing wholeness is all about helping people to discover their God given purpose or “spiritual gift”, and then equipping and training them to use that gift as they in turn go out and serve others as they discover how they to can be a part of fulfilling God’s great commission. |
